ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION AND GOLF DAY FEES

The annual subscription is currently £15 and is reviewed each year at the Annual   General Meeting. The committee, dependent on the package negotiated with each golf club to be   visited, will decide fees for the golf days. The fees will be notified to members well in advance of each golf day.

COMMUNICATIONS

The principal source of information is the Society Secretary. It is the responsibility of members to ensure they are kept informed of activities. A newsletter is circulated regularly to members by E-mail and contains results and reports of golf days as well as information on forthcoming events.

GOLF AND GENERAL PLAY

The Society and its members agree to abide by the rules of golf laid down by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews. The members must adhere to any additional rules in operation at the golf clubs visited by the Society. The committee will adopt a system of handicapping deemed fair for all involved. A full record of all competitions and handicaps will be kept by the committee and   is available for all members to view.

GOLF DAYS

The dates and venues will be decided, arranged by the committee and are published early in the calendar year for the full year. Dress Code restrictions may vary from Golf Club to Golf Club but we expect the dress code to be adhered to. As golf societies can be viewed with mixed feelings the Society aims to be welcomed back to visiting clubs. Dress for the dinner and presentations will be jacket and tie.
